The Colorado Fund for Muscular Dystrophy is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, 1986, or the corresponding provision of any future federal law. Such purposes include but are not limited to:

raising funds to be used for financial support of activities, programs, and events that will increase the quality of life for persons with Muscular Dystrophy and other neuromuscular disorders.

giving financial assistance in the form of grants and scholarships to persons with Muscular Dystrophy and other neuromuscular disorders so that they can participate in activities, programs, and events leading to an increase in their quality of life.

giving financial assistance in the form of grants for the purpose of assistive technology, medical equipment, and other equipment needed to support persons with muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular disorders.
