CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — For ten years, the Colorado Fund for Muscular Dystrophy (CMFD) has been working to improve the lives of people with neuromuscular disorders and their families.

In its tenth year, CMFD leaders are aiming for a record-breaking fundraising year with a $10,000 goal and more opportunities for the community to help than ever before.

The Chesterfield County-based organization was established in 2014 to honor the life of Aileen Colorado, a Midlothian-area native who lived with muscular dystrophy.
