On August 13, 2016, CFMD hosted its third annual Race ‘N’ Roll 5K and Fun Run to raise money to fund more grants and sponsor children for MDA summer camp. Through sponsorship support, race participants, and fundraising donations, we raised close to $7,000 in gross proceeds.
On a warm summer day, participants and spectators came out to support our cause and enjoy the Filipino Festival after the race. Congratulations to the race participants and award recipients! This year’s top fundraising team award went to the Virginia Beach team! To raise funds, this group got creative and held parties at their homes, where they invited their friends to enjoy games and dessert.
