CFMD is proud to announce our May 2017 grant recipient, the Eastham Family! Nicole Eastham applied for the CFMD grant to purchase supplies to build a deck with a ramp for her two sons, James and William, who both have Duchenne muscular dystrophy. With the deck complete, the whole family is now able to enjoy time outside together and the boys also have a second entrance and exit to and from the house.
CFMD awards grants twice a year in May and October. Grant applicants must be a Virginia resident with a diagnosed form of muscular dystrophy.
